Our journey across Canada took us 9 long days and we only had one little unexpected mishap. The tent trailer blew a tire just as we were pulling out of Sandbar Lake campground just outside of Ignace, Ontario, after the third night.
We stopped at 4 different provincial campgrounds along the way. After driving for 6 long days we finally got to our friends beautiful cottage. We spent 3 great days at the cottage swimming, fishing, golfing and jumping off of huge rocks into the lake before heading out on the last leg to Stittsville. It was a welcome break from all of that driving!
Finally we made it to Stittsville, our new home town! We still had a few day to wait until we got into our new house. I think we are all getting a little impatient to finally get to the new place and to settle in. Until then we will enjoy (or melt in) the wonderful Ottawa area heat!
