Welcome to Kay’s Place
Hi everyone and welcome to my blog. My name is Karla and I am a wife and mother to 3 boys. I have two teenagers still living at home and one out on his own. My husband’s name Kevin and that is kind of why my blog is called Kay’s Place. I am a do it your selfer and I love diy projects. They don’t always turn out but I give it my best! I also love decor and gardening. I am not always very good at it all but it sure is fun trying!
My family and I moved clear across the country from Calgary Alberta to Ottawa Ontario in the summer of 2016. We were in Calgary for 13 years. Our families are all here in Ottawa so it is nice to be back with them. I wanted to start a blog to chronicle our journey of fixing up our new house. The house is new to us but it is actually 30 years old and has never been renovated. Got a little 80’s happening here! Anyway hope you enjoy my blog and check back once in a while to see what crazy projects I will attempt to do.
